Margaret Atwood

Margaret Eleanor Atwood is many things but among those, a poet and novelist. Her most famous work out of many being The Handmaid’s Tale. Atwood was influenced most greatly by her two professors, Jay Macpherson and Northrop Frye, and the Canadian literature she read as a child. She has since won an extensive number of literary awards and honors, and has had many famous adaptations of her books made. Atwood’s next release is set for September 2019 and it will be a sequel to The Handmaid’s Tale entitled The Testaments.
